April Lockhart

April Lockhart is a born on July 4, 1995. In the seventh grade, she started taking piano and guitar lessons. That ignited her enthusiasm for music writing. April Lockhart composed her first single"Different" at twelve years old. At the age of 14 years old, April was spending a lot of time writing lyrics and perfecting her musicianship skills. Over the next few years, she took notes together with her dad on trips to LA and NY. April featured other topics in her song"Take my Hand. These topics were for friends that dealt with things like peer pressure issues or even teenage suicide thoughts. Lockhart is an influencer in the beauty and lifestyle industry who has a growing fan base. She collaborates with the renowned brand Ilia together, in addition to being a specialist in lifestyle. It's true that she was born with no left hand, and it makes her unique. It's not the only aspect that makes her unique. Lockhart's profile on Instagram doesn't hide her disability but doesn't just focus on her disability. What is the message? It's important to keep in mind that everyone has numerous faces. Our identities are diverse and we're greater than the bodies we wear. It's not my intention to let that define me I don't intend to become an influencer where that's all I talk about because there are so many other things about me. Lockhart states in video form from her residence in Nashville. This doesn't influence my day-to-day routine. I carry on my business as usual and have found my own ways to adapt. It's also part of me, so I believe it's important to talk about. Lockhart is a huge inspiration to her fellow women with regards to self-acceptance. Still she admits she's gone through periods of being uncomfortable with her body, at times, feeling insecure to wear certain types of clothing that showed how much of her body. Today, she wears anything she likes and uploads images of her outfits to social media with pride. The self-love she talks about is a process. It's not clear if you'll ever reach the point of no return. It's true for all regardless of level of insecurity. I believe that it's really vital to surround yourself people who are able to see and know your true heart.
