Jenna Fischer was best known for portraying Pam Beesly (the character of The Office) on television. The role she played earned her an Emmy nod for the best supporting Actress category and she also won two SAG Awards, both for exceptional performances in an ensemble cast in a comedy.
Jenna was born and raised on the streets of St. Louis Missouri. Jenna was awed by her mother, Anne, perform in performances at church while she was young and was able to instill a love of performing and theater.
An actress trained in theater, Fischer returned to her roots after wrapping The Office. The actress starred alongside Josh Hamilton Leslie Bibb Fred Weller in Neil LaBute's Off Broadway production Reasons for Being Happy. In the following play, she was a part of Steve Martin's Meteor Shower - an absurdist play starring Greg Germann with Josh Stamberg - for the Old Globe Theatre's first world premiere.
The Office co-star Angela Kinsey and Fischer created Office Ladies, a podcast hosted by Earwolf on October 19, 2019. The podcast has proven to be hugely successful, reaching the Top Ten worldwide every week with more than 200 million downloads in its initial two years. Office Ladies was awarded the iHeart Radio Podcast of the year award in January 2021.
She has written two books: The Actor's Life A Survival Guide in which she describes her journey to Hollywood as an actor in the field and Office BFF's, Tales of The Office From Two Great Friends that Were There which is a story of the greatest friendship they had and their experiences on The Office.
